Well it is official. I now have a high risk driver in my family. My son just got his license yesterday after celebrating his 16th birthday this past weekend. Yes it is exciting, especially for him. His right of passage accomplished even when there may have been some doubters on the sidelines. Our insurance just jumped $47 more a month thanks to his accomplishment and the streets just became a bit unsafer. Accordingly teen age boys age 16-25 are considered to be the highest risk drivers on the road, for very good reasons. My only hope is that he beats the odds, stays safe and responsible and proves that he has learned his lessons well. Exciting for him, yet scary for the rest of us. Can you relate to this? If so, i would love to hear from you. Brian
