According to the National Association Realtors latest report, pending home sales nationally were down in September by 4.6% compared with a year ago. With that said, year-to-date numbers indicate that the market overall is ahead of last years numbers for the same time period. Here in the Northeast, the numbers provided show that the Northeast experienced a slow down in September as well by 4.7%, but overall is ahead of last year's figures year-to-date by 4%.
